This video message was recently sent out by Bishop I.V. Hilliard of New Light Christian Center in Houston, Texas. It requires no explanation it is for interpretation. Bishop I.V. Hilliard tells his church that he has decided to step down from the Bishop’s Council Committee that was designed to help New Destiny Christian Center of Orlando,Florida, the former church of the Late Pastor Zachery Tims with their transition and selection of a new pastor. It seems as if somewhere along the way Bishop Hilliard felt that his involvement in the committee was corrupting his integrity. He is quoted as saying:
“After being involved for sometime in the process, I have decided to resign my position on this Bishop’s council. My commitment to integrity will not allow me to support something that I believe is deceptive and compromises the previously agreed upon procedures and protocol.”
We don’t know where this leaves New Destiny, but we do know that this message from Bishop I.V. Hilliard opens the door to many questions.
