Compelling 14 year-old Jekalyn Carr
Born on April 22, 1997, Jekalyn has always been solidified on good ground through her upbringing. Her parents recognized that Jekalyn was very gifted for her age. At the mere age of five, the pressing of the anointing on her life was very visible. Singing at such a young age, Jekalyn’s compassion for souls began to pull her deeper into ministry, releasing God’s Word, with a prophetic voice.
At the age of 11, Jekalyn began to travel the world inspiring people across the nation, speaking and singing to crowds of 17,000 plus. Jekalyn also have appeared on several national and international shows. Now she is featured in the documentary movie called Rejoice and Shout by Magnolia pictures, which features Smokey Robinson, Andrae Crouch, Kirk Franklin and many more. This documentary movie informs you about the beginning of Christian music. Jekalyn is a highly proclaimed motivational speaker and evangelist that has traveled to many cities inspiring, encouraging and motivating the people to walk in purpose.
Remaining humble and meek as she did at the age of five, Jekalyn strives to be steadfast Today, as she has touched many, inspiring young and old to hold on to their visions and to pursue the promise that has been predestined for their life. Jekalyn knows that she is only a vessel, created to help and inspire others. Jekalyn wants others to know “You CAN fulfill the promises over your life, IF you BELIEVE, WORK HARD to achieve them, and most of all, PUT GOD FIRST.”
